Man killed in Taylorsville shooting

A man is dead after being shot Sunday morning in Taylorsville.  Officials with Unified Police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex around 10:10 a.m., and upon arrival found the victim, Toussaint Tyler, 30, of Taylorsville, had been shot. Tyler was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries at the hospital he had been taken to.

Officers have said they are looking for three people in connection with the crime. They say a woman knocked on the door of a ground floor apartment, and that when the door was opened two men forced their way inside the unit. Police have said they are looking for a 1980's black Ford Mustang convertible with red stripes going down the sides, paint primer showing through flaking off paint, low-profile tires, and gold rims.
