Man critically injured after shocked by power line

A man has been put in critical condition after being shocked by a power line early Wednesday morning in Murray. Crews arrived after an emergency call was placed at an apartment complex around 10 a.m., when some construction workers working on installing some gutters. One of the workers turned away from the other to gather some equipment and turned around to see a flash he assumed to be electricity. After that was over he saw the other worker lying on the ground unconscious and not breathing.

Emergency crews performed CPR upon arrival, and eventually ended up transporting him to a hospital. He was listed to be in critical condition, but was said to be breathing and have a pulse when crews left the scene. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
