Lunar eclipse Sunday evening

A celestial event is on the horizon for this weekend. Astronomy experts say a total lunar eclipse will be visible across Central Ohio and most of the U.S. on Sunday night. The Earth's shadow will begin moving over the moon's surface just before 10:30 p.m., fully covering it over the span of an hour. The moon's color will begin changing to shades of pink, orange, and red while only getting light travelling through the Earth's atmosphere; resulting in the nickname of "blood moon" for the event.
