An ATV crash in Ross County Wednesday resulted in one person being MedFlighted to the OSU Hospital. Sheriffs Deputies were called to a residence on Moss Hollow Road, where Sandra Sheetz was found lying on the ground suffering from back and abdominal injuries. According to the driver of the ATV, Douglas Sheetz, the brakes stopping working while they riding down a hill. The vehicle stuck a log, throwing both Douglas Sheetz and Sandra Sheetz from the ATV. Harrison Township EMS crews responded as well. Sandra Sheetz was first transported to the park in Massieville, then later by MedFlight to Columbus. Douglas Sheetz suffered minor injuries and refused to be treated at the scene.
