Sciotoville East 42, Southeastern 24

With very little time to prepare, Southeastern hung close to a talented team from Sciotoville East before falling 42-to-24 on Friday night. It was our 94-Country-WKKJ "Herrnstein Hyundai Game of the Week". Southeastern spent much of the week prepping to play Beaver Eastern, but with injuries and COVID-19 related issues affecting their roster, Beaver Eastern notified Southeastern officials Thursday afternoon they would not be able to play as scheduled Friday evening. Southeastern was able to line up a game with Sciotoville East from the Southern Ohio Conference to fill the sudden open date. With by a strong running game led by Landehn Perrel's 131 yards, and 99 yards from Leviticus Justice, the Tartans were able to pull away for the win. Southeastern was led by Trustan McWhorter's 98 yards rushing and two scores. The two teams kept things mostly ground oriented, combining for a total of just 11 passes on the night. Sciotoville with the win improves to 3-and-0 on the season, while Southeastern remains winless in 3 games. Next week our coverage takes us to Unioto, as the Shermans open up Scioto Valley Conference play by hosting the Huntsmen from Huntington. Our coverage starts at 6:40, with the kick off at 7:00!
