Police are now saying they have arrested the man suspected of killing a University of Utah student during an attempted carjacking Monday evening. Austin Boutain was spotted in library by a librarian who had been paying attention to the story. They promptly informed police and Boutain was taken into custody without incident.
Boutain was reportedly "acting like anyone else who was in the library" at the time officers arrived. He is currently being interrogated at the police department on the University of Utah Campus. The name of the librarian responsible for informing police has not been released.
