A St. George man has died from injuries he sustained after being wedged between a pickup truck and a trailer Monday afternoon. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of an accident around 3:40 p.m. and when they got to the scene they discovered the man was pinned between his Ford F-350 pickup truck and a fifth-wheel dump trailer. Authorities say they believe the trailer managed to separate from the truck and roll forward, wedging the 56-year-old man between the two, immediately killing him.
The incident remains under investigation at this time as investigators determine how the trailer became unhitched.
