A man is dead after a possible hit-and-run incident occurred in West Valley City Tuesday evening, according to police. The victim was found seriously injured around 11:15 p.m. CPR was attempted by passersby and emergency personnel, but he died shortly after those efforts began. The man had no ID on him at the time, but is described as a black male in his 20's.
The incident is being investigated as a hit and run, although the exact cause of the injuries remains unknown. Anyone with information relevant to this investigation is asked to call the West Valley City dispatch center at 801-840-4000.
