A late night car crash has left one woman dead. Around 11:50 p.m. Sunday a green passenger vehicle failed to stop after the green light, and was struck on the side by a white SUV according to Utah Highway Patrol. The driver of the green car was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and suffered critical injuries as a result. She was flown to a nearby hospital by a medical helicopter, but died of her injuries before arriving.
The two occupants of the white vehicle were wearing their seatbelts and suffered only minor injuries from the collision. The victim's name has not yet been released, pending family notification.
