One person has died as the result of an early morning crash near the Utah-Nevada border. According to Utah Highway Patrol around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday a Nissan Pathfinder headed westbound on I-80 sideswiped a box truck around 30 miles from the border. When the Nissan slowed down in the right-hand lane, a semi-truck ran into the back of it, causing the Nissan to roll off the road. The driver of the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and died as a result of the wreck.
Investigators have not released any personal information about the deceased. The driver of the box truck and the semi-truck were unharmed.
