State Route 92 near the mouth of American Fork Canyon had to be closed Tuesday, while authorities were investigating a body discovered near Timpanogos Cave. According to officials with the Utah County Sheriff's office, a maintenance worker was driving through the canyon early Tuesday afternoon, and spotted a body inside a car parked close to an old power plant roughly a mile up the canyon. The body was taken by the medical examiner, but did not appear suspicious.
