Firefighters fight trash site blaze for 5th time

Enterprise firefighters responded Sunday evening to another call at a trash collection site located behind a power substation. Crews arrived around 6:45 p.m. to find that trash in the large metal bins behind the substation had ignited, with clouds of smoke rising into the sky. While the cause of the fire remains unknown, it is suspected that it may have ignited from hot ashes given their complicity in previous calls that have been made this year so far.

The fire was contained to the bins and was never able to spread any further. It was extinguished by 7:45 p.m. No injuries were reported as a result of the unexpected blaze.
