A fire at a former community health facility in down town Salt Lake City Monday night is now believed to have been a possible case of arson, after evidence was uncovered in the early investigation pointing to such a possibility. The Salt Lake City Fire Department responded to calls of the fire around 10:15 p.m. at the site of the former community health center located at 610 S. 300 East. Early investigation results have shown evidence of the fire being intentionally lit, and a witness reported to have seen someone fleeing the area at the time of the fire.
The fire is still under investigation, but anyone with information can contact the Salt Lake City Fire Department at 801-799-4150.
