Police asking for public help catching bank robber

Police are turning to the public for help with identifying a man wanted in connection with at least five different bank robberies since February. The man has followed a similar pattern of behavior with each robbery, each time producing a note claiming he has a weapon and demanding money, although no weapon is seen during the robberies. Police have now begun to coordinate efforts with the FBI in tracking the man down.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s, roughly 6-feet tall with a husky build, short brown hair, and hazel or brown eyes. He has worn the same camouflage hat and brown coat to several of the robberies.Anyone with information about the robberies or the man is encouraged to contact police at 801-799-3000 or text 274637 with the words “TIPSLCPD” before the tip.
