It took nearly 11 hours on Saturday, but the Utah GOP State Convention Saturday proved one thing, conventions are valuable. Many are criticizing what happened Saturday, but the current system does allow delegates a chance at civic engagement that is so lacking in today's "popular" primaries. Agree or disagree.
