President Trump's claim that the media is responsible for dividing the nation is resonating with voters, a new survey shows.
Nearly two-thirds, 64 percent, believe the media has done more to divide the country than to unite it. Just 17 percent of voters who were polled by Politico and Morning Consult said they believed the media had been a unifying force.
They were more likely to say that Donald Trump had united the country than the media, as well, with nearly double, 30 percent, saying he'd been a uniter and 56 percent saying he'd been a divider.
