As part of a legislative move approved earlier this year, state lawmakers in Utah approved some major changes in the way the Utah Transit Authority is run. One of the changes was to rename the UTA to the Transit District of Utah. Today the Governor said he would call for a special session to stop the expansive move. Lawmakers are considering delaying the change until further study. The name change could cost millions of dollars.
