Bomb threats made in Salt Lake City, Ogden areas

Authorities are investigating bomb threats made Thursday at locations in Salt Lake City and Ogden.

The Ogden 2nd District Courthouse was evacuated around 1:30 p.m., according to state courts spokesman Geoffrey Fattah. The courthouse was evacuated just a week ago on a similar threat that was found to be unsubstantiated.

Salt Lake authorites were also investigating bomb threats at The Road Home and The Gateway. According to Salt Lake City police detective Matt Roper, police did not find any evidence of a bomb near that area.

Roads near the Road Home were briefly closed, but cars were being let through as of 2:30 p.m., Roper said.

This story will be updated as more details become available.
