Police are now searching for two people they believe to be connected with the death of a woman who's body was found at a downtown motel Tuesday morning. The woman, 25-year-old Mechelle Lindberg, of Pleasant Grove was found inside a room at the Gateway Inn around 8:40 a.m., after someone had spotted the body from outside the room and called police. While police initially deemed the death as "suspicious," they have since labeled it as a homicide.
Authorities are now asking for help from the public in locating two people they believe to be connected with the death. Kristie Marie Hansen, 26, and Javier Rodriguez Pena, 29, are considered to be persons of interest in the investigation.
