3 teens arrested in stolen car

Three teens in a stolen car have been arrested, after the driver turned the vehicle into a dead end street as they tried to escape. The vehicle was spotted around 11 p.m. Wednesday when an officer noticed the its taillights were not functioning properly. The officer pulled the vehicle over, but as she began to approach the driver sped away. The vehicle eventually entered a dead end street and the five occupants of the vehicle abandoned the car and took off on foot.

A four block perimeter was established around the area, and officers were able to apprehend three of the five people in the car. All three caught are juveniles and police assume the remaining two suspects are as well. The three teens that were caught are expected to be booked into juvenile detention for investigation of a stolen vehicle and fleeing police.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
