A woman is in critical condition after taking a tumble off a waterfall Sunday evening. The woman was hiking with her husband, their teenage kids, and a few friends on the Davis Creek Trail around 6 p.m., when both she and her husband fell off the waterfall and plummeted 40 feet to the bottom. Rescue crews arrived on the scene to find the man had suffered a laceration to his head, but was in overall good shape.
His wife, however, was unconscious and had to be air lifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The husband was taken to the same hospital by ambulance. It remains unclear as to how the couple went over the edge.
