Fundamentalist LDS leader Lyle Jeffs is will appear in court Monday, after spending almost a year on the run from authorities. Jeffs is expected to enter a plea on federal charges in connection with a case of food stamp fraud he and several other leaders of the FLDS church stand accused of. Jeffs was taken into custody last month in South Dakota, after an employee at a pawn shop recognized him.
Jeff could face upwards of 30 years in prison.
