A woman has died after being struck by an automobile Tuesday evening in Sandy. Shortly before 7 p.m. A woman in her mid-60's was struck while crossing the street by "at least one northbound vehicle," according to police. She died at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still unknown, but the woman was not using a designated crosswalk. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
