Education Secretary Arne Duncan made a faux-pas heard around the education world Friday when he said it was "white suburban moms" who are rebelling against Common Core because they've realized "their child isn't as brilliant as they thought they were."  Duncan apologized on Monday, but not before pondering if people really do want higher standards for the nation's children.

Guest Alert: Rod will get reaction on Duncan's statement from Jamie Gass, Director for the Center for School Reform, today at 6:35 pm.
