Police are now conducting an investigation at a South Salt Lake creek, after a body was found Sunday afternoon. Employees at a business near the creek spotted the body around 4 p.m. and notified police. When officers arrived they found the body stuck in some debris, but were able to remove it with some assistance from South Salt Lake fire crews.
The body has been identified as a male and will be sent to the office of the State Medical Examiner to hopefully determine identity and a cause of death.
