UTAH TRANSPORTATION OFFICIALS SAY, NEARLY HALF OF THEIR WINTER SNOW REMOVAL BUDGET HAS ALREADY BEEN SPENT THIS WINTER -- MUCH OF IT, ON THE SERIES OF STORMS THAT HAVE BEEN FALLING, THIS WEEK.

KEN SYME -- AT THE UDOT MAINTENANCE OFFICE, IN MURRAY -- SAYS MOST OF THE TAX DOLLARS ARE SPENT OUT ON THE ROAD...BUT TRUCK MAINTENANCE IS ALSO PUTTING A DENT IN THEIR BUDGET.

A FULL COMPLIMENT OF UDOT SNOW PLOWS WAS BACK OUT ON THE ROAD, THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

PLOW DRIVERS CONTINUE TO ASK US TO SLOW DOWN... DON'T PASS THEM... AND BE PATIENT.
