Our Salt Lake Valley summer is now the fourth hottest ever...with several weeks of the season left, to make a run at the all-time record.

Long before you'd ever heard of the Beatles, there were 21 days -- in 1960 -- that reached 100 degrees or more.

In 2013, we're at 13 of those triple-digit days...with two more likely, before Pioneer Day (July 24).

The high temperatures have caused multiple problems -- including asphalt buckling in several locations on I-15.
