A Salt Lake Judge is on paid administrative leave this week, following her arrest on suspicion of possessing synthetic narcotics.

Justice Court Judge Virginia Ward, 45, is accused of receiving 338 oxycodone pills, through a PO box, under a false name.

DEA agents say the arrest is part of an investigation covering California, Nevada and Utah.

By the time they are done making arrests, the feds believe they will have put a major dent in the synthetic narcotics supply across the western U.S.
