A high-profile Utah shooting case went back before Salt Lake judges, Monday morning.

Reginald Campos, 47, is serving a 3-years-to-life prison sentence, for the 2009 neighborhood watch shooting of his neighbor, David Serbeck.

The victim survived, but was paralyzed.

Campos claims mistakes were made -- during his original trial -- by attorneys on both sides, and the judge.

There's no word on when the appellate court might offer a ruling.
